Karrion Kross WWE TV Return Scrapped

Karrion Kross

Plans for Karrion Kross to return to WWE TV were recently nixed.

Although Kross has been wrestling regularly at live events, the last time he had a televised match was on the August 11th edition of SmackDown where he was defeated by AJ Styles.

Now, Fightful Select has reported that the former NXT Champion was expected to return to our screens on the November 3rd episode of the blue brand, but the plans were axed. The comeback segment was seemingly scheduled to be filmed for the Crown Jewel go-home show and would also have featured Scarlett and Shotzi.

However, it is said that the segment “would not have made sense for almost anyone involved,” so was cut accordingly. Unfortunately for fans of Kross, there is no word on any creative plans for the star, and it is unknown when he will finally come back to TV.

On the other hand, Fightful reports that WWE is happy with Shotzi and Scarlett’s hosting of Halloween Havoc as well as their supernatural-themed web show, Chamber of Horrors. Kross was featured on one episode of the series, accompanying the pair to Bobby Mackey’s Music World aka the most haunted nightclub in the US.

Karrion Kross wants to face John Cena

Karrion Kross doesn’t think a match against John Cena is impossible. During a recent interview, he discussed the potential clash, recalling that fans were fantasy booking the match-up while he was still in NXT.

Unfortunately, Kross was released before the bout could take place. However, now that he is back in the company, and Cena is also making regular appearances, Kross believes the chances have grown again.

“I think one day John posted a picture of me on his Instagram with no caption, no context, and people went crazy over it. You know, unfortunately, some things happened from that point to where we are now where I was no longer with the company. And now I’m back and he’s here as well. Just thought I’d put it out there and see if people still felt about it.”
