“The Company Took Advantage Of Him” – Kurt Angle On WWE Legend Kane

In a recent episode of his podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle shared his thoughts on the legendary career of Kane and how the company may have taken advantage of his dedication and commitment to his character.

Angle and Kane were integral parts of the Attitude and Ruthless Aggression eras, leaving an indelible mark on professional wrestling. Angle praised Kane, whose real name is Glenn Jacobs, as a model employee during his time with the company, on his podcast The Kurt Angle Show.

Both Angle and Jacobs held multiple World Championships, showcasing their versatility in the ring and ability to adapt to any opponent they were paired with. Their willingness to work well with others contributed to their success and longevity in the industry.

Reflecting on his podcast, Angle expressed his belief that the Big Red Machine may have taken advantage of, stating that he was a model employee and never complained about having to lose a match. Angle said:

He did everything he was told to do. He worked his ass off. I think he was a little too nice. The company kind of took advantage of him. He had a lot more losses than he did wins, and he was a dominant character.

Although Angle thinks that the company may have taken advantage of Jacobs, he has been recognised as a legend in the business when he was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2021.

What Else Did Kurt Angle Discuss?

Shifting gears, Angle also discussed the possibility of Roman Reigns pursuing a career in Hollywood. With Reigns’ compelling persona and natural charisma, Angle speculated that the current Universal Champion could follow in the footsteps of other Superstars who have successfully transitioned to the big screen.
