“No Brainer” To Reunite Edge And Christian In AEW – Bully Ray

Edge making his entrance at WWE Day 1

Edge now goes by Adam Copeland, but Bully Ray sees plenty of equity in reuniting Edge and Christian in AEW.

It may be pointing out the obvious, but Bully Ray noted on Monday’s edition of Busted Open Radio that getting Copeland on the same side of the ring with Christian Cage is something that has to happen. However, there is absolutely nothing wrong with taking your time.

“It’s a no-brainer that wrestling fans would like to see Edge and Christian on the same page again and I think wrestling fans are going to be clamoring for the day that they can see Edge and Christian standing across the ring from The Hardys one more time … You don’t have to get to that for quite some time — to think that you have that in your back pocket and you can play that hand in a year down the road, provided everyone stays healthy.”

Edge & Christian Are Currently Adversaries

It’s evident that after AEW WrestleDream, Adam Copeland and Christian Cage are on different battlefronts moving forward, so to Bully Ray’s point, that friendly reunion will have to take a bit of time to develop. However, all that considered, it’s fascinating to think of The Hardys going up against old rivals once more and Copeland did state in a recent interview how Cage was a big reason for him signing with AEW.

Hypothetically speaking, it could very well be in the cards that Bully Ray and his “brother” D-Von may be possible to tie it up with the two teams once again, however, that’s all dependent on the particulars behind The Dudley Boyz’ current WWE Legends contract, which they just recently signed. The two did just return for a match at IMPACT 1000.
