“Go F*ck Yourself” – Christian Cage Sends Message To Adam Copeland

Christian Cage had a very blunt message for Adam Copeland.

While the two men might have been friends for the best part of 40 years, there was little room for sentiment when Copeland arrived on AEW Dynamie.

The WWE Hall of Famer made his shock AEW debut at WrestleDream, confronting Cage as he prepared to hit Sting with a con-chair-to. After a brief staredown, and tease from Copeland that he would be the one to hit Sting, he hit Luchasaurus and Nick Wayne as Cage escaped up the ramp.

On Dynamite, Copeland opened up about why he decided to make the jump from WWE to AEW, and the dream matches he’s excited to have. He added that he wants to reunite with Cage to remind the world of just how good they are as a team.

At this, Cage — who had been stood in the ring for much of the monologue — took the microphone and embraced Copeland, only to tell him: “Go f*ck yourself.”

The show ended with Cage posing with Luchasaurus and Nick Wayne on the ramp.

Why Did Adam Copeland Join AEW?

In the lead-up to Dynamite, Adam Copeland revealed he joined AEW at least in part thanks to his daughters. He explained that when he spoke to them about what he was going to do, they told him to go and work with with “Uncle Jay,” known to wrestling fans as Christian Cage.
