Jeff Hardy To Compete In Texas Chainsaw Massacre Death Match

Jeff Hardy AEW

Jeff Hardy will look to embrace the horror movie vibe this coming Wednesday on AEW Dynamite along with another wrestling legend.

Fight Forever isn”t the only video game that AEW will be promoting as Jeff Jarrett will be battling Jeff Hardy in a deathmatch aptly sponsored by Texas Chainsaw Massacre video game. In a new vignette, Jarrett expresses his admiration for the promotional mindset of AEW as he’s shown smiling at the sponsorship contract between the parties and the match he’s going to partake in.

Jarrett makes it known that there are no rules for his fight with Hardy as it’s a “Texas Chainsaw Death Match” and Double J even teases a potential apperance from Leatherface himself. This match will be one of the featured bouts for Fight For The Fallen as all proceeds will go to the Maui Food Bank to assist with the wildfires.

In recent news the August 18th AEW Rampage spoilers have been revealed.

Jeff Jarrett & Jeff Hardy Have Had Their Run-Ins In The Past

Jeff Hardy is no stranger to Double J, particularly during their tenures in TNA, but this will be the first encounter the two have had under the AEW banner. Hardy just competed on this week’s episode of Dynamite as he and his brother Matt took on The Young Bucks. The Bucks ended up getting the win and the respect from the Hardys before they accepted the challenge of FTR at AEW All In.

Jarrett also isn’t a stranger to promoting video games. While he isn’t in Fight Forever, Jarrett is in the upcoming WrestleQuest, an RPG wrestling game that is set to release on August 22. The game features other legends such as Randy Savage, Andre The Giant, Sgt. Slaughter, Lou Albano and more.
