Braun Strowman

Braun Strowman swapped the ring for the stage at Milwaukee Summerfest 2023.

The Monster Among Men is currently out of action following neck surgery in May. The procedure was to fuse his C4 and C5 vertebrae and the star has described it as “scary.”

During his time off, the former Universal Champion has been keeping busy. Most recently, he made a surprise appearance at Summerfest, taking to the stage to accompany Grammy-nominated Country artist Zach Bryan during his last song of the night, ‘Revival.’

You can see a video of the appearance below:

Braun Strowman’s recovery is progressing well

Strowman recently gave an update on his recovery from surgery, revealing that he has been able to begin light weight training.

“Just got the green light to start light weight training again!!!! Time to rebuild the #Monster”

Strowman originally signed with WWE in 2013 and became part of Bray Wyatt‘s ‘Family’ on his main roster debut two years later. After leaving the group, he went on to find singles success, including a reign as the Universal Champion.

In June 2021, he was unexpectedly released from the company and began working on the independent scene where he was a key part of the controversial Control Your Narrative promotion.

He was brought back to WWE in September 2022 and has since begun a successful partnership with Ricochet.

His return was unfortunately derailed by a concussion in late April, and just after coming back from that injury, he suffered the neck problems that led to his surgery and current absence.
