Ricochet Gives Positive Update On Braun Strowman

Ricochet & Braun Strowman on WWE Raw

Braun Strowman is on the mend according to his friend and tag team partner Ricochet.

The Monster Among Men suffered a concussion in late April before returning to action. However, following the WWE Draft he only appeared on Raw once alongside tag team partner Ricochet before being placed on the injured list.

It was first reported by Mike Johnson of PWInsider on May 30th that the star had suffered an injury, and Strowman then revealed that he had undergone neck surgery. The former Wyatt Family member described the procedure as scary, explaining that the surgery was to fuse his C4 and C5 vertebrae.

At the time of his injury, Strowman was teaming with Ricochet in an unlikely pairing that was starting to become popular with live crowds.

Speaking to Steve Fall for WrestlingNewsCo, Ricochet said that Strowman is recovering well, while he’s targeting the World Tag Team Titles when his partner returns.

“He’s doing great. He had a little surgery, but he’s doing great. He’s recuperating. He’s doing fine. I mean, I know he’s ready to get back. I can only imagine that he’s ready to get back. I miss my tag partner. I think we had something pretty good going.

I think the fans were getting into it pretty good and obviously, I want to be tag team champion. Who better to have your side than like the biggest man on the roster? I can’t wait for him to get back. He’s doing great.”

What Has Ricochet Done Since Braun Strowman Got Injured?

Following the injury to Strowman, Ricochet jumped back into life as a singles wrestler and took part in the men’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match. This sparked a feud with Logan Paul, which ended with a match between the pair at SummerSlam.

Following his victory over Ricochet, Logan Paul announced his return to boxing.
