Braun Strowman hasn’t been seen on WWE television since the first of May, and a new report reveals that he’s currently dealing with an unspecified injury.
The report from PWInsider states:
“Strowman is currently on the disabled list and is not expected back anytime in the near future. We are told he has been taken off the board when it comes to creative ideas.”
In addition, PWInsider states that one WWE source believes Strowman may require surgery for the injury, but that has not been confirmed.
Braun Strowman Reportedly Suffered A Concussion On WWE SmackDown Back In April
Back in April, it was reported that Strowman was pulled from live events after suffering a concussion on the April 21st edition of SmackDown. Teaming with Ricochet to take on The Viking Raiders, Strowman launched Ricochet into the ring but misjudged the distance and mistakenly planted him on the floor. Following the botched spot, Strowman then hit his head on the turnbuckle while exiting the ring and collapsed on the apron.
Taking to social media after the incident, Strowman offered an update to his fans and promised that he would make sure to return at 100%, saying:
Thank you to everyone that has reached out. I am doing much better. Hate missing work. Sorry to everyone over the weekend that was looking forward to me performing. We are taking every proper step to make sure I recover to 100%

Strowman wasn’t out for long, however, and returned on the April 28th episode of SmackDown, once again teaming with Ricochet to take on The Street Profits and the LWO in triple threat tag team action.
The star last wrestled on the May 1st edition of Monday Night Raw, teaming with Ricochet to take on Chad Gable and Otis of the Alpha Academy. Strowman and Ricochet formed an alliance on SmackDown back in February of this year, and have been teaming together ever since. However, Ricochet has been wrestling singles matches since Strowman suffered this latest injury.
