AEW Collision Viewership Drops Below 500,000

Viewing figures for AEW Collision have fallen once again, this time dropping below half a million.

As reported by Wrestlenomics, the third edition of the show pulled in 452,000 viewers, with a 0.13 rating in the 18-49-year-old demographic.

By contrast, the June 24th episode of the show drew an average of 595,000 viewers, which in turn was a fall of 237,000 from episode one. The show scored a 0.21 rating in the 18-49-year-old demographic which is down from the 0.33 recorded on debut.

It should be noted that the July 1st episode of the show was the first to be taped in advance and was broadcast shortly after WWE Money In The Bank went off the air on Peacock.

CM Punk To Renew Rivalry On AEW Collision

On the July 1st episode of the show, Samoa Joe saw off Roderick Strong in the quarter-finals of the men’s Owen Hart Tournament. This put him on a collision course with old rival CM Punk who advanced with a win over Satoshi Kojima at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.

In the other semi-final, Ricky Starks will meet Powerhouse Hobbs. Starks defeated Juice Robinson to advance while Hobbs saw off Dustin Rhodes.

There were also wins for Miro, Kris Statlander, and MJF on the show.
