John Cena Set To Appear On September 15th WWE SmackDown

John Cena makes his entrance

John Cena will be part of the September 15th edition of SmackDown.

The 16-Time World Champion will meet a familiar face as he appears on The Grayson Waller Effect. The pair first butted heads back in July when Cena made a surprise appearance at Money In The Bank in London.

As the star made a pitch for WWE to hold a future WrestleMania in the city, Waller decided to come to the ring and make his own pitch for the Showcase Of The Immortals to make its way to Australia instead. In the process, he made the mistake of mocking Cena and even putting his hands on the Peacemaker star.

Things quickly went south from there, with Cena hitting a massive Attitude Adjustment to leave ‘The Dynamite From Down Under’ lying on the mat.

During the latest edition of SmackDown, Waller was on commentary for Austin Theory’s match against LA Knight when he dropped the bombshell that Cena would be his next guest on The Grayson Waller Effect.

“You’re welcome kid”

Former WWE star Chris Masters recently revealed the reason why Cena looked down on him during their time together in the company.

John Cena returned to action at WWE Superstar Spectacle

Cena had his first match since WrestleMania 39 when he teamed up with Seth Rollins at Superstar Spectacle in India. The pair defeated Giovanni Vinci and Ludwig Kaiser of Imperium in the main event of the show in Hyderabad.

After the victory, Cena addressed the crowd, revealing that he had been waiting 20 years to perform in India, and telling the fans that the moment was “far greater” than he could have imagined.

“I want to share this with y’all. You can let me know if I’m alone or not, but I’m gonna share it anyway. I’ve been imagining this moment right here for 20 years. I wanted to end tonight by saying this moment was far greater than I could’ve ever imagined.”
