John Cena Stuns WWE Universe With Shock Money In The Bank Return

John Cena made a shock appearance at WWE Money In The Bank to call on the company to bring WrestleMania to London.

The crowd was still recovering from Drew McIntyre returning and decking Gunther, and Cody Rhodes overcoming Dominik Mysterio when Cena made his way to the ring.

The building shook as the 02 Arena sang every single word of Cena’s entrance. In a move that once seemed impossible, the 16-time World Champion was even serenaded by a “thank you Cena” chant.

Once the veteran got down to business he said he wasn’t in London for one more match, instead, he was there out of respect, and to send a message to the decision-makers to hold WrestleMania in London.

This brought out Grayson Waller who made the pitch no one in the arena asked for, a WrestleMania in Australia. The brash Australian mocked Cena, the crowd, the UK, and just about everything he could think of.

The turning point came when Waller put his hands on Cena, and even briefly got the upper hand, but there was no way Cena wasn’t standing tall. The sure-fire Hall of Famer hit an AA before heading back up the ramp to one more huge cheer.

John Cena recently made a claim that WWE is currently better than it ever was.

John Cena Had A Lot Of Supporters But Teddy Long Wasn’t One Of Them

After a couple of early stumbles on the main roster, John Cena rose to become the biggest star in WWE and dominated the main event picture for years. In more recent times as he’s begun to transition into Hollywood, Cena’s matches have been more infrequent, and he’s taken on the nostalgia spot, previously occupied by the likes of The Rock.

While this has endeared him to fans, not everyone is happy about it. Speaking in a recent interview, Teddy Long said he was never a Cena fan.
