Jade Cargill Reflects On “Blessing” Of Starting Her Career In AEW

Jade Cargill Reflects On

Jade Cargill, the former AEW TBS Champion, recently opened up about her start in the wrestling industry and her excitement for her upcoming debut in WWE.

Jade Cargill’s journey began in AEW, where she made an immediate impact by confronting Cody Rhodes in her debut promo and teaming up with NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal in her first match. Despite having previously tried out for WWE without success, speaking to People, Cargill expressed gratitude for starting her career in AEW, stating that she wouldn’t have had a better start anywhere else.

If you would have told me about three years ago that I was going to be a professional wrestler, I would have probably burst out laughing, I feel like it was a blessing (starting in AEW). I would have never got a better start anywhere else.

She credited AEW for preparing her mentally and emotionally, enabling her to develop a thick skin and handle the pressures of the industry.

AEW prepared me. It prepared me to have thick and tough skin.

Cargill also acknowledged that starting in a high-profile company like WWE at a younger age may have affected her confidence negatively. However, her experiences in AEW have equipped her with the necessary skills and resilience to succeed in WWE.

If I would have been a part of such a machine like WWE at a younger age, I would have probably been in my head so much – so much – but because I’ve worn several hats in this life and I’ve already been thrown in the fire, so it’s just prepared me for these moments.

When Will Jade Cargill Debut In WWE?

Jade Cargill recently signed a multi-year contract with WWE, and although the exact date of her TV debut is unknown, she is excited about this new chapter in her career and she has been teasing her return, with Cargill posting warnings to the WWE roster on social media.
