Jade Cargill Signs With WWE

Jade Cargill making AEW Dynamite entrance

Jade Cargill is officially a WWE Superstar.

Cargill became a free agent after letting her AEW contract expire, wrestling her last match on the September 15th episode of Rampage. On the show, the star failed in her attempt to regain the TBS Title from Kris Statlander. The match had been taped two days earlier.

Cargill lost the gold to Statlander back at Double or Nothing. The loss was her first since signing with AEW.

Ahead of her final match, it was reported that the star was looking to leave All Elite Wrestling and was intent on moving to WWE.

ESPN has now reported they’ve been told by WWE officials the star has signed with the company. Triple H and WWE later confirmed the deal with Jade Cargill on social media.

Is Jade Cargill Going To NXT?

Now that Cargill has put pen to paper with the sports entertainment giant, attention moves to what comes next. The report from ESPN notes Cargill will start with WWE on September 26th at the Performance Center. However, there’s no word on whether she’ll start her WWE career in NXT or on the main roster.

It has previously been reported that WWE was working on “main roster creative” for Jade Cargill, although details remain thin on the ground.

Cargill becomes only the second star to jump from AEW to WWE after Cody Rhodes made the same move in early 2022, making his return at WrestleMania 38.

While Cargill has never wrestled for the company before, she did attend a tryout before heading to AEW.

Jade Cargill has recently sent a message to the WWE roster.
