Back in February, it was revealed that Vickie Guerrero’s contract with AEW will not be renewed.

The veteran’s deal is set to expire in July 2023, and both the star and All Elite Wrestling have agreed that it won’t be extended.

Guerrero joined AEW in late 2019 and served as a guest commentator on Dark. Seven months later she appeared at Fight for the Fallen and was revealed to be Nyla Rose’s manager, a role she has held ever since.

In June 2021, Guerrero unveiled Andrade El Idolo as AEW’s latest signing on Dynamite and acted as his manager as he took his first steps in the promotion.

On The March 10th, 2023 episode of Rampage, Nyla Rose was in action against Riho. However, in the lead-up to the match, Guerrero revealed that she wouldn’t be used at ringside. Posting on social media, Guerrero said that AEW had asked her to stay at home.

Vickie Guerrero Joined AEW After Memorable Run With WWE

Vickie Guerrero is best known for her time in WWE where she first appeared on-screen in 2005 as part of the storyline involving her husband Eddie Guerrero and Rey Mysterio. After Eddie sadly passed away, Vickie gradually made more and more appearances on television and eventually became SmackDown’s General Manager.

Guerrero went on to form the “La Familia” faction with Edge and went to war with The Undertaker.

She remained with the company until 2009 when she left to spend more time with her family. However, it wouldn’t be long until she was back on-screen managing Lay-Cool. Guerrero left WWE for the final time in WWE in 2014 to pursue opportunities outside of wrestling.
