Nia Jax's Reaction To 2021 WWE Release Is Not What You Would Expect

Nia Jax has spoken about her release from WWE back in November 2021.

During a recent episode of WWE’s After The Bell podcast, Nia Jax opened up about her hiatus and how it allowed her to embark on a journey of self-discovery and personal growth.

Jax revealed that her release initially came as a shock but turned out to be one of the best things that ever happened to her. The time away from the ring provided her with an opportunity to look inward and find herself again. She acknowledged that being part of WWE’s bubble for so long had caused her to lose sight of her own desires and aspirations. The hiatus allowed her to break free from the confines of the company and gain clarity on what she truly wanted.

I was pretty shocked too, with my time away, and it happened to become one of the best things that ever happened to me, I was able to really deep dive into finding myself again, When you’re in the bubble for so long, you kind of get lost in the sauce of WWE. It’s a big, I don’t want to say drug, but it’s a bubble.

You’re in a bubble and you’re stuck in the WWE world and you don’t really see outside. You have your blinders on. Being released gave me the time to actually dive back into myself and figure out what I want and what I want to do.

In addition to her self-reflection, Jax used her time off to invest in a 40-acre farmland. As she continues to cultivate the land, she has already welcomed a llama, a goat, a pig, and around 30 to 40 chickens. Jax plans to install proper fencing to bring in dairy cows in the future. Moreover, she expressed her intention to utilise the area as a shelter for rescue dogs.

When Did Nia Jax Return To WWE?

Nia Jax made a surprising return to WWE during the September 11th episode of Raw when she interfered in the Women’s World Championship match between Rhea Ripley and Raquel Rodriguez. This unexpected return set the stage for Jax’s upcoming challenge for the title at WWE Crown Jewel. She will compete in a fatal five-way title match for the Women’s World Title.
