Trish Stratus Names Greatest Match Of Her Career

Trish Stratus

Trish Stratus has revealed the favourite match of her illustrious career.

The legendary Canadian Superstar debuted in WWE in March 2000 and went on the win the WWE Women’s Championship on seven different occasions en-route to her 2013 induction into the WWE Hall Of Fame.

Despite a whole host of career accolades and famous victories in the ring, the former WWE Hardcore Champion has named one of her most memorable defeats as her in-ring career highlight.

In a recent Q&A with ‘Tales From The Collection: Autograph & Fan Mail’ at the Big Texas Comic Con, Stratus revealed that her favourite ever bout was against Mickie James at WrestleMania 22:

“I would say Mickie James and I at WrestleMania 22. We love that one, right? The storylines. And it’s just one of those things where storylines, especially for women, and just storylines in general in wrestling, they just don’t go on and on. They just kind of stop and start and forget — Mickie and I are really proud that we had that storyline.

We used to say hashtag longest rivalry ever, but I think maybe me and Becky [Lynch] might have that now, actually.

But yeah, loved working with her. Loved our crowd reaction at WrestleMania 22 and the fact that the crowd was wanting that so badly. Amazing. It was really fun working with her; she’s obviously amazing, so yeah, that’s the one.”

When Will Trish Stratus Return To WWE?

Currently there is no official word on when Trish Stratus will make her next appearance in WWE.

Most recently Stratus was defeated in a steel cage match by Becky Lynch at the Payback Premium Live Event held in Pittsburgh, PA on 2nd September 2023.

As of November 2023, Trish Stratus has teased a return to WWE.
