Becky Lynch has welcomed Jade Cargill to WWE.
On September 26th, WWE announced the signing of now former AEW star Jade Cargill. The former TBS Champion had been expected to join the sports entertainment giant after allowing her AEW deal to expire.
The red carpet was well and truly rolled out for Cargill, with the deal announced by ESPN, while WWE promoted her signing heavily across social media.
Fans were immediately excited by the deal, mapping out a series of dream matches for Cargill against the likes of Charlotte Flair, Rhea Ripley, and Becky Lynch.
During an interview with the New York Post ahead of her match with Tiffany Stratton at NXT No Mercy, Lynch was asked about Cargill and whether she was someone she’d followed closely.
“I watch all the products. I think it’s great. More women with more platforms. I think she has a lot of work to do when she gets here, but if she is willing to do that, just look at her. She’s a star. It’s more people for me to get in the ring with and kick their asses,”
Jade Cargill Sets Sights On Dream Match With Bianca Belair
Speaking in an interview with ESPN about her move to WWE, Jade Cargill addressed the prospect of a match with Bianca Belair.
The star said that any match between the pair would be worthy of the WrestleMania main event, and something that would pack out stadiums.
