Bray Wyatt Getting “Closer” To WWE Return

Bray Wyatt on the mic

A Bray Wyatt return to WWE is looking more promising following a positive health update.

As reported by Fightful Select, Wyatt is looking “closer” to a return following an extensive battle with an undisclosed illness. The company are being extra cautious with the former World Champion, as the long-term health of Wyatt is the top priority over anything else.

In regards to a return date for the Eater of Worlds, some creative ideas have been presented to be used as early as September, but this would be pushed back if Wyatt is not ready to return at that point.

The report concludes by stating that there were plans to create a new group with Uncle Howdy, Alexa Bliss and Eric Young. However, these plans have been dropped following Bliss going on maternity leave and Young no longer being a part of the company.

When Was Bray Wyatt Last On WWE TV?

Bray Wyatt has not appeared in person on TV since the SmackDown before Elimination Chamber on February 17th, where a warning was issued to Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley ahead of WrestleMania.

Due to Wyatt being unable to compete, the company would have to pivot for their biggest show of the year. Lesnar would instead face Omos on night two, with Lashley without a match for the entire weekend. Instead, The All Mighty would have a short segment where he walked out in front of the live crowd with his Andre The Giant Battle Royal trophy.

Following his return in 2022, Wyatt has only competed in one match on television, which was the Mountain Dew Pitch Black match against LA Knight. In an exclusive interview with Inside The Ropes, LA Knight would comment on competing in the sponsored match.

Inside The Ropes would like to wish Bray Wyatt a full and speedy recovery.
