SummerSlam is WWE’s biggest party of the summer, and a new report reveals where the show is expected to take place.

According to Fightful Select, Cleveland, OH is currently in discussions to host the blockbuster event, with some WWE sources saying it’s “likely” the show will be there.

There is currently no word on whether Cleveland Browns Stadium or Progressive Field would be slated to host the event should it take place there.

If these plans indeed come to fruition, 2024 will mark only the second time Cleveland has been host to SummerSlam. The first was back in 1996, when SummerSlam was held at the Gund Arena.

The main event of the show saw Shawn Michaels retain his WWF Championship against Vader. While Vader originally won the bout by countout and then again by disqualification, his manager Jim Cornette insisted the match be restarted each time as those victories wouldn’t earn Vader the title. In the end, Michaels pinned Vader after hitting a moonsault on the big man.
