Paul Heyman Hits Back At Idea “The Bloodline Is Finished”

Paul Heyman & Roman Reigns on WWE SmackDown

Paul Heyman believes The Bloodline is as strong as ever.

Over the last year, The Bloodline has seemingly been on the brink of collapse but has somehow remained strong. More recently, The Usos seemed to have left the group, and Jey took on Roman Reigns at SummerSlam. However, at the end of the match, Jimmy attacked his brother and seemingly aligned with Reigns.

On the following episode of SmackDown, Jimmy claimed his actions had nothing to do with joining Reigns, but Jey wasn’t having any of it. He ended the show by hitting Jimmy with a Superkick before announcing he was done with WWE.

Since then, no members of The Bloodline have appeared on SmackDown, but it’s been announced that Jimmy will be appearing on September 1st.

Appearing on The Bump, Paul Heyman dismissed the idea that The Bloodline is “finished,” pointing to the strength of Reigns and Sikoa.

“Okay, The Bloodline is finished. Let’s see who main events WrestleMania 40, do you think it is going to be a Bloodline member? Do you think it won’t be Roman Reigns?

Do you think The Bloodline is finished? Okay, believe that for yourself, and then we will see where we are when Roman Reigns decides to appear on television.

With regard to Jimmy, Heyman believes there’s still a good chance he will return to the group given his close ties to younger brother Solo Sikoa.

There’s still lots for Jimmy. His younger brother Solo is still with us. His younger brother Solo is still within The Bloodline, still the enforcer, still the sergeant in arms, still the one that will impose our will upon people.

If for nothing else, there’s a love of his younger brother, that’s something that’s quite a lure for Jimmy. If for nothing else, forget about materialistic things, forget about the money and the fame and the prestige and the honor and the relevance of it all – there’s the love of his brother Solo.

With that being said, Heyman appeared to have less patience for Jay, whose status remains unknown.

Well, that’s Jey, right? (while holding Jey’s action figure). Jimmy can hang out, we will discuss him another time. And Jey flew the coop, he quit WWE. So, we don’t need those anymore (throws Jey’s action figure away)”

Will Paul Heyman And Roman Reigns Be At WWE Payback?

Since joining forces with Paul Heyman, Roman Reigns has enjoyed the most successful run of his career. The Tribal Chief recently passed the three-year mark as Universal Champion, solidifying himself on the all-time list behind only Bob Backlund, Bruno Sammartino, and Hulk Hogan.

At present, Roman Reigns and the rest of The Bloodline are expected to miss Payback on September 2nd.
