Braun Strowman Undergoes Major Surgery

Braun Strowman on WWE Raw

Braun Strowman is set to be out of action for a number of months after undergoing neck fusion surgery.

The former Universal Champion suffered a concussion in a tag team match in late April but returned to action shortly after. As part of the Draft, Strowman and his partner Ricochet were moved to Raw, but the pair only appeared once before Strowman was placed on the injured list.

It was first reported by Mike Johnson of PWInsider on May 30th that the star had suffered an injury, and the man himself has now confined that he’s undergone surgery. In a message on Instagram, Strowman said that it was “very scary” to find out he needed the surgery, adding that it will “take a little bit of time to heal from.”

Road to recovery starts now!!!! Level one #fusion on my c4/c5 #vertebrae was in the great hands of #DrCordover at @andrews_sports_medicine was a great experience considering. Thank you to @wwe for always taking the up most care of us. This was very scary to find out about having to have done and they were there every step of the way reassuring that I was going to have the best care possible. This will take a little bit of time to heal from. But I assure you ( in the words of the #Terminator ) I’ll be back!!!! Thank you all in advance for the well wishes.

Much Love

Braun Strowman Finds Tag Team Success Since WWE Return

Braun Strowman returned to WWE in September 2022 looking leaner and stronger than ever. However, his second run with the company stumbled initially, but a partnership with Ricochet significantly improved his fortunes.

Although the pair are yet to taste tag team gold, their unlikely partnership has proved to be a big hit with live crowds and has given both men regular spots on SmackDown and then Raw.

In recent news, Braun Strowman praised his former partner Bray Wyatt.
