Tony Khan struggled to maintain his composure when he read a hilarious letter from Toni Storm aloud at the Full Gear Media Scrum!

One star who was conspicuous in their absence from last night’s Full Gear Media Scrum was the newly-crowned AEW Women’s World Champion Toni Storm. Nearly 90 minutes into the scrum, Khan addressed her absence, revealing that she had sent him a letter explaining her absence from the scrum as she had to travel to Europe.

Khan proceeded to read the letter in full to the media in attendance whilst he struggled several times not to laugh in the process. Storm apologised for missing “your little scrum”, explaining that she had taken “an aeroplane” after the show to the beach house of mid-1900s actor Peter Lawford for a weekend break.

She went on to implore Khan to praise her for her title win on Dynamite next week and encouraged him to not drink as much coffee. The entire letter, which Storm posted on her Instagram story and was later reposted on X by RJ City, can be seen below.

Toni Storm Is Close Surpassing A Big AEW Record

On Full Gear itself, Storm defeated Hikaru Shida to win the AEW Women’s World Championship and in the process, became one step closer to surpassing a huge AEW championship record.

Storm’s latest title reign marks her third with the belt, tying her with former champion Shida for the most AEW Women’s World title reigns in history. Storm has yet to hold onto the title for very long, however, as her first two reigns combined still leave her as one of the shortest reigning champions in the belt’s history.
