Adam Cole is thankful that the fans continue to send their well wishes.
Returning to the ring in March 2023 after nearly a year away from the ring, Cole was firmly positioned in the main event scene of AEW. After taking MJF to a time-limit draw, the 2 enemies were forced to team together in the Blind Eliminator Tournament. Slowly developing a bond as partners, the fans were behind the feel-good story that would lead both men to the main event of All In, where MJF vs. Cole 2 took place in front of more than 80,000 fans.
Going from strength to strength, Adam Cole was dealt another blow as he suffered an injury at Grand Slam that required him to have multiple surgeries.
Only appearing in brief video calls on Dynamite each week, it was unknown when the ROH Tag Team Champion would be back at 100% and doing what he loves the most. Fans at Full Gear got an unexpected surprise when Cole’s music hit during the Zero Hour pre-show, signalling an in-person return. The Los Angeles crowd were delighted with the unexpected return, cheering Cole as he made his way to the ringside area.
Cole recently took to social media to thank everyone for their support. Frustrated that he is unable to wrestle, Cole stated how the fans are helping him get through the recovery process:

When Will Adam Cole Return To The Ring?
Although Cole has made in-person appearances on pay-per-view and Dynamite, there is no indication that an in-ring return is soon. The latest update on Adam Cole stated that the ROH Tag Team Champion still requires physical therapy after the surgery and could be out for months.
