AEW Star Claims Jade Cargill “Looks Like A Million Dollars Again”

Jade Cargill with the TBS Championship

Thunder Rosa believes WWE is treating Jade Cargill “like a superstar.”

Cargill was a top star in AEW, where she debuted by interrupting Cody Rhodes and teamed with basketball legend Shaq to defeat Rhodes and Red Velvet. This kicked off a winning streak that lasted for over two years and included Cargill becoming the inaugural TBS Champion.

The streak was brought to an end at Double or Nothing in May 2023, when Kris Statlander defeated her for the title. Cargill disappeared for several months before returning in September to unsuccessfully challenge Statlander for the gold in what proved to be her final match in the company.

Cargill left AEW behind to sign with WWE only weeks later. Her new home promotion quickly got to work in promoting the importance of the signing, with Triple H praising her as “an industry-renowned talent.”

Cargill made her WWE TV debut at Fastlane, where she was shown arriving backstage and going straight into a meeting with Triple H. Most recently, she was seen backstage on SmackDown, where she came face-to-face with Charlotte Flair for the first time.

Thunder Rosa praises WWE’s treatment of Jade Cargill

On a recent edition of Busted Open Radio, Rosa joined those from AEW wishing Cargill well in her new endeavour.

“When you have your friends, just promote your friends and be happy [for] what’s happening for them. I want to give a shout-out to Jade Cargill. She looked like a million dollars again.

If Rosa was ever to move to another company, she hopes she would get similar treatment to the star.

“She’s all in my feed, all up in my feed. She’s doing something else and it’s like… I mean, I don’t know man. Like, if I go to somewhere else, I want to be treated like that. Like a superstar. So it’s really cool to see that and my blessing to her and I can’t wait to see her in the ring, and I can’t wait to see what they have for her.”
