Rhea Ripley is excited to take on Jade Cargill in the ring.
Since joining WWE on September 26th, Jade Cargill has been seen a number of times backstage. Most recently, the star came face to face with Charlotte Flair on the October 13th edition of SmackDown.
Cargill told the former 14-Time Women’s Champion that the pleasure was hers, but Flair countered by saying, “Oh, it will be.”
Another top star Cargill is yet to encounter is Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley. When that moment comes, it’s something Ripley is more than ready for.
The star discussed Cargill’s signing during a recent appearance on Sporting News Australia. The Nightmare is watching closely and is excited to see what the star brings to WWE.
“I’m very excited to see what she brings to WWE. I really am. Like you said, she’s a big name and a lot of people are watching and waiting for her debut. We don’t know which brand she’s gonna be on yet. It could be Raw. It could be SmackDown. It could be NXT. No one really knows exactly what’s going on.
“If it is Raw, I mean, that’s my show. Mami runs Raw. The Judgment Day, we run Raw. If Jade wants to come to my brand, then I would love to step in the ring with her and show her exactly why Mami’s always on top.”
Ripley has seen Cargill’s dominant run in AEW, and is excited to step in the ring with her, saying it will be a good challenge to face someone who is so “physically impressive.”
“Because I have watched bits and pieces of her from her time in the other brand, in the other company, and she is fantastic and she believes in herself and she is a star. She believes she’s a star, which is always the most dangerous thing. When someone believes in themselves, they are very hard to stop.
“I’m also Mami. I’m waiting for that day that I do get to step in the ring with her. I think it’s gonna be a very exciting match and just to have someone that’s so physically impressive across the ring from me, it excites me. I love a good challenge and I’m waiting for that day.”
When will Jade Cargill have her first match in WWE?
While Cargill has begun making appearances on WWE TV, it is still unclear which brand she will land on and when she will finally step foot in the ring.
Triple H recently spoke on when she will make her wrestling debut for the company, saying he is patient and will wait until she’s ready to “blow the roof off.”
“When she’s ready to blow the roof off of everything we do, right? There is one thing I am, it’s patient for stuff like this.”
