CM Punk Asked About Survivor Series Speculation; Responds To Rumours

Will CM Punk be at Survivor Series?

Multiple reports have claimed that there is a high possibility that the Chicago native will make an appearance inside The Allstate Arena after more than 9 years away, with one report going as far as to say that CM Punk is “A Safe Bet” for Survivor Series. However, there have been just as many counter reports that state that the former AEW World Champion is not going to be at the Premium Live Event and fans should not get their hopes up for something that will not be happening.

With the probability of a Punk return to WWE ever-changing, a new interview has got an answer from the man himself regarding the Survivor Series rumours.

Speaking with Chicago radio station 670 The Score, Punk was asked if he would be at the upcoming show. Punk responded that he is unable to make it as he couldn’t get hold of a ticket:

“They’re asking if I’m going to be there? I think it’s sold out. I think tickets are hard to get.”

Elaborating on his previous point, The Best in the World revealed that his dog is suffering from a serious injury so needs to be taken care of. The injury has also forced Punk to cancel prior commitments:

“I don’t want to burst anybody’s bubble. I’m kind of just sitting at home and enjoying this beautiful Chicago weather. I have an injury in the family. My dog [Larry] blew his dog ACL. I’m literally just spending my time with him. I know that sounds crazy, but he is my son, and I take care of him and treat him as such. Everything has kind of stopped. I’m fortunate to take time off from everything. I’ve canceled things I have coming up. Traveling is hard. It’s tough to leave him here with my wife April [AJ Lee]. If there are two of us here taking care of him, it’s easier.”

CM Punk Given Alternative Offer

Now no longer a member of the AEW roster, Punk is free to explore other promotions if he does want to continue wrestling. CM Punk was recently spotted at an Impact Wrestling taping the day after Bound For Glory and was said to be very giving of his time to those who requested it. If CM Punk is just looking to have some fun in the later years of his wrestling career, one smaller promotion has pitched him a unique offer.

H/t to Fightful.
