Fans Spot Incredible WWE Easter Egg During AEW All Out

Wrestling fans were reminded of 2016 NXT while watching AEW All Out.

Prior to becoming the World Champion for All Elite Wrestling, the early days of MJF’s career saw him do extra work in WWE. Years later when The Devil arrived on the wrestling scene, fans would recognise his earlier work as the security guard who was shoved by Samoa Joe during Joe’s entrance at NXT TakeOver Brooklyn II.

Seven years later the spot was recreated in Chicago. MJF and Adam Cole successfully retained the ROH Tag Team Championships against Alex Reynolds and John Silver in the opening match of the show. Not wanting to wait, Joe would make his entrance for the next match as Cole and MJF made their way up the ramp. With history repeating itself, Joe shoved MJF once again as the two champions crossed paths on the ramp.

Anthony Bowens Hits Back At Fans Criticising That Lack Of Build To AEW PPV's

The Acclaimed

The Acclaimed’s Anthony Bowens has hit back at critics of AEW’s PPV model.

All Out (and to an extent All In) found themselves under fire by frustrated fans of social media with the PPV’s seemingly lacking matches with any real build and instead matches put together in just the weeks before the PPV.

House of Ass member Anthony Bowens has taken to social media to fire back at these complaints following AEW All Out.

Writing on Twitter, Bowens would reply:

“Hi! I barely ever comment on stuff like this but to clarify, I just hop on here sometimes and my timeline is full of “this whole ppv is shit” without even watching the finished product yet.

I relate to this bc last year I was FLOODED with why tf are The Acclaimed in this tag title match? Only a week of build? This match will suck! But then it ended up being a match people are still talking about.

Of course a 3 month build to it would have been amazing in theory but just give things a chance first.

If the show sucks, then have at it after. I thank you for having high standards and there’s nothing wrong with wanting better but I’m saying if you CHOOSE to spend your hard earned money on us (especially two weeks in a row) our locker room is full of INCREDIBLE performers that won’t let you down.

“Great build” or not. We prove it every ppv.

But that’s it for this, I’m moving on now..much love and enjoy your week!

Fans were quick to spot Kiss’ removal from the AEW roster page speculating that his time with the company was up and Tony Khan would confirm his departure during the AEW All Out post show press conference.

Tony Khan would respond to a question on Kiss’ status with the company, stating:

“I really like Sonny Kiss. We have a roster of over 100 wrestlers now across AEW… I can’t renew every single contract in AEW, it would be impossible… I think Sonny Kiss is a great wrestler and had a lot of potential from the very beginning and still has a lot of potential.
