Becky Lynch Triumphs Inside WarGames

Becky Lynch

Just 24-hours after returning to WWE, Becky Lynch stepped into WarGames with a point to prove. After four months out of the ring The Man came back around to show once again that she’s one of the very best that WWE’s women’s division has ever seen.

The action inside the famous structure kicked off with Bianca Belair and Dakota Kai but owing to their win on Raw, it was Damage CTRL who soon had the advantage with IYO SKY joining the action. As the rings began to fill up, there was a clash between Asuka and IYO SKY while Nikki Cross decided it was time to get some weapons involved.

After Alexa Bliss entered the chaos, Nikki Cross took up residence at the top of the cage before throwing herself off onto everyone below. From here, Bayley arrived into the match with ladders and a table, much to the delight of the crowd. The line-ups were complete shortly after with Mia Yim, Rhea Ripley and then Becky Lynch entering the match.

Becky Lynch Revels In In-Ring Return

After a dominating display from Ripley, her progress was slowed by the mist from Asuka. As the match moved towards it’s violent conclusion, IYO SKY delivered a death-defying Moonsault from the top of the cage onto Bianca Belair and Mia Yim.

In the other ring, Ripley recovered to launch herself and Yim through a ladder, while Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross ended up handcuffed together.

The end of the match came after Becky Lynch and Bianca Belair began to work together against Damage CTRL. After gaining the upper hand, Belair placed IYO SKY and Dakota Kai onto a table as Lynch climbed the cage. Bayley came back to try and make the save only to be intercepted by Belair, who hit a KOD on her rival into the cage.

This left the way clear for Lynch to hit a massive Leg Drop from the top of the cage through Kai and SKY on the table below, earning the win.
