Who Will Roman Reigns Face At WWE Royal Rumble?

The main event of Crown Jewel saw Roman Reigns defend his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against LA Knight. Reigns was victorious in the end, but not without help from The Bloodline.

In the weeks that followed, Knight made it clear that he wasn’t finished with Reigns and vowed to become the number one contender to the championship once again. While all signs seemed to point to a rematch between Knight and Reigns at the Royal Rumble on January 27th, a report from Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter told a different story. Meltzer wrote:

“We were told that as of this time Reigns vs. Knight is not the title match at Rumble. That is Reigns’ next match. There are those who feel it should be Knight in that spot but we were told Levesque has another plan right now.”
