Brock Lesnar has pinned Big E in a chaotic Day 1 main event to become the new WWE Champion!
Despite only being added to the match a mere handful of hours before stepping into the ring, Brock Lesnar has been crowned WWE Champion.
Originally Big E was slated to defend his title against Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens and Bobby Lashley. However, in the lead-up to the event, Roman Reigns revealed that he had tested positive for COVID-19 meaning that he wouldn’t be wrestling on the show. In turn, this meant that his scheduled opponent Brock Lesnar, now didn’t have a match.
The solution was to create a mammoth Fatal-Five-Way for the WWE Championship.
An absolutely CHAOTIC start to this #WWEChampionship#Fatal5Way Match!

The match itself was a hard-hitting and frantic affair from start to finish. In the early going Lesnar overpowered Rollins and Owens but was eventually levelled by Big E and then Speared through the barricade by Lashley.
Owens followed up with a Frog Slash from the apron to the floor, later hooking up with Rollins to deliver a DDT on the stairs.
Just moments prior the pair had tried to drive Lashley through the announce table. Despite fighting off his two rivals, the All-Mighty was sent crashing through the table by Big E.
Back in the ring there were power moves galore, with Lesnar delivering F-5’s to Owens, Rollins and Big E. But just as he looked to be heading for the win, Lashley emerged with a Spear. Despite kicking out, Lesnar was quickly snatched up and into the Hurt Lock, putting Lashley back in control.
Big E managed to break up the hold, saving his championship in the process, before being felled by another huge F-5 enabling Lesnar to grab the win.
