WWE Crown Jewel Date & Time Confirmed

WWE Crown Jewel

WWE Crown Jewel 2023 will return to Saudi Arabia next month.

During the Fastlane PLE, the company announced that the Premier Live Event will be held on Saturday, November 4th, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It will be the fifth event under the name and the tenth event that World Wrestling Entertainment will hold in Saudi Arabia under a 10-year partnership supporting Saudi Vision 2030.

There are no matches announced for the show as of yet, but the promotional video features footage of Roman Reigns, John Cena, Bobby Lashley and Cody Rhodes.

If Cena does appear on the show it will be his first-ever Crown Jewel appearance and the first time he has wrestled in Saudi Arabia since 2018’s The Greatest Royal Rumble. During the company’s inaugural event in the country, Cena defeated Triple H in the opening match.

When Did The Last WWE Crown Jewel Take Place?

The company has a long-standing relationship with Saudi Arabia, and Crown Jewel is one of the recurring events in the country. The last event under that name took place on November 5th 2022 and saw Roman Reigns successfully defend the Undisputed Universal Championship against Logan Paul. The other matches on the card saw Braun Strowman defeated Omos by pinfall in a battle of the giants, Brock Lesnar bested Bobby Lashley and Bianca Belair defeated Bayley in a Last Woman Standing match for the WWE Raw Women’s Championship.

But the last time the company was in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was for Night of Champions. The PLE returned for the first time since 2016 and took place on May 27th, 2023. That event witnessed Seth Rollins defeat AJ Styles to become the inaugural World Heavyweight Champion and Asuka beat Bianca Belair to win the Raw Women’s Championship.
