Cody Rhodes And Jey Uso Win Tag Team Gold

Amanda Huber Reacts To Cody Rhodes Incredible WrestleMania 39 Entrance WWE Raw

Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso have dethroned the Judgment Day.

JD McDonagh is still trying to earn his way into the Judgment Day, but his involvement at Fastlane won’t have done him any favours.

The match between Rhodes & Uso and Damian Priest & Finn Balor had gone back and forth with neither team able to hold the advantage for long. So naturally, as the action progressed this brought out Rhea Ripley, Dominik Mysterio, and McDonagh.

After Mysterio was taken out, Ripley nearly won the match for Judgment Day hitting Uso with the Money In The Bank briefcase, but the former Bloodline star kicked out.

As the match spilled to the outside, Priest looked to put Rhodes through the announce table but McDonagh accidentally smashed his knee with the briefcase — a knee that had been injured earlier.

Rhodes quickly got back in the ring and hit an assisted Cody Cutter, before finishing the job with a Cross Rhodes on Balor.

It has since been announced that WWE Fastlane broke a number of company records.

In recent news, Lex Luger has voiced his concerns about Cody Rhodes’ future.

Cody Rhodes Heading To NXT

It’s been announced that Cody Rhodes will be appearing on the October 10th episode of NXT. The roster for the show is loaded to max with the episode going head-to-head with AEW Dynamite. The American Nightmare will be joined on the show by Paul Heyman, Asuka, and John Cena, who is coming off the heels of finally ending an unfortunate streak at Fastlane.

Rhodes has links with NXT going all the way back to before it was a standalone brand, serving as the “pro” in 2010 alongside “rookie” Husky Harris, who went on to become Bray Wyatt.

Of course, the Rhodes family has a deep association with the brand, with Dusty Rhodes credited with shaping its early success. After his death, WWE launched the “Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic” in his honour. Some believe that Cody’s announcement on October 10th will be linked to the return of the tournament.
