WWE Money In The Bank comes to the 02 Arena in London, UK for the first time in company history in what promises to be a stellar show.
This is the second major event to take place in the UK in as many years. Last year the company held its first UK PLE Clash at the Castle
As always the event features both the men’s and the women’s MITB Ladder Matches, but the show also hosts a first-time-ever match-up, the first PLE defence of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and the epic Bloodline Civil War clash.
The full card is as follows:

Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler (c) vs. Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan – Unified Women’s Tag Team Championships
After Rousey and Baszler defeated Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre to unify the NXT and WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships, Liv Morgan made her surprise return with a special message for the champions. Alongside Rodriguez, the former champs declared they wanted the titles they never lost back and laid down the challenge at the PLE.
Prediction: Ever since Rousey and Baszler captured the titles there seems to finally be some focus on them. Therefore, it would be a mistake to remove the titles from them. Rousey and Baszler win.
Gunther (c) v.s Matt Riddle – Intercontinental Championship
After weeks of feuding that saw the Original Bro and Imperium take each other out in several backstage attacks, Riddle challenged the Ring General to match for the IC Title at the PLE. The champ gladly accepted the challenge by attacking Riddle from behind backstage.
Prediction: Whenever these two are in the ring together the outcome is always great, hard-hitting action. This time looks to up the ante as the IC Title is on the line. Gunther is on his to making history as the longest-reigning Intercontinental Champion of all time and is not going to let Riddle get in his way. Gunther wins.
Becky Lynch vs. Zoey Stark vs. Bayley vs. Zelina Vega vs. Iyo Sky vs. Trish Stratus – Women’s MITB Ladder Match
After weeks of qualifying bouts, the six participants for the women’s MITB ladder match are confirmed and the outcome is an exciting mix of generational talents. Hall of Famer, Trish Stratus, former women’s champions in Bayley and Becky Lynch, established roster members Iyo Sky and Zelina Vega plus newcomer Zoey Stark will all vie for the coveted MITB contract.
Prediction: This year’s crop of competitors is some of the best to go after the coveted briefcase. Lynch is the clear favourite and has stated her desire to emerge as the victor. However, her feud with Trish Stratus and Zoey Stark has spilt into this match and will no doubt come into play and cost her the opportunity. Sky and Vega are the other strong contenders for the win, but as the latter has just had a title shot against Rhea Ripley at Backlash, the former seems the most likely to climb the ladder and get the bag. Iyo Sky wins.
Seth Rollins (c) vs. Finn Balor – World Heavyweight Championship
Seth Rollins and Finn Balor have a history. And as the old adage goes, history tends to repeat itself. At SummerSlam 2016 the two fought for the newly-introduced Universal Championship. Despite winning the match and title, Balor got injured and had to relinquish the championship the very next night. Since then Balor has fought his way back up the long ladder to title contention and gets his chance for redemption against a familiar foe for another newly-created championship.
Prediction: Although Rollins was the perfect first World Heavyweight Champion, Balor simply cannot afford another big loss. Driven by revenge, Balor has shown his vicious side and taken every opportunity to attack his opponent in the lead-up to this match. These continuous beatdowns and multiple title defences have taken their toll on Rollins, which certainly gives Balor the advantage. Balor will exploit the wear and tear on the champion to finally get the championship victory that has avoided him for so long. Balor wins, new champion is crowned.
Cody Rhodes vs. Dominik Mysterio
Cody Rhodes and Dominik Mysterio meet in a first-time-ever encounter. The match came about when the Judgement Day bad boy slapped the American Nightmare across the face drawing the ire of the former AEW man. Since then, Mysterio has continued to taunt Rhodes while hiding behind his Mami, Rhea Ripley.
Prediction: As soon as he steps into the ring, Dominik Mysterio is going to find out he has bitten off way more than he can chew. Of course, Ripley is going to be by his side, but there is only so much she can do to protect him. Cody Rhodes wins.
Ricochet vs. LA Knight vs. Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Santos Escobar vs. Butch vs. Damian Priest vs. Logan Paul – Men’s MITB Ladder Match
After weeks of qualifying matches the Men’s MITB Ladder Match was set, however, the return of Logan Paul changed the dynamics of the match when he revealed he was now a participant.
Prediction: With all due respect to the other competitors, this is a two-horse race between Paul and Knight. Until Logan Paul interested himself in the match it was a pretty safe bet that LA Knight was the one to leave London with the briefcase. But, the Youtube star seems to be a shoo-in as his celebrity and mainstream appeal is just the thing WWE loves. Logan Paul wins.
Roman Reigns & Solo Sikoa vs. The Usos – Bloodline Civil War
Over three years of epic storyline and drama have led to this – the break up of the Bloodline. Ever since Reigns introduced the Tribal Chief persona in 2020 he has ruled over his cousins with an iron fist. Despite lifting the family to unprecedented heights, his constant controlling and manipulative presence over them ultimately became his undoing. After the Usos lost the Undisputed Tag Team Titles to Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens at WrestleMania 39, Reigns publically berated and humiliated them for it. Jimmy was the first one to snap and rebel against the Head of the Table. Jey followed suit and the cracks in the Bloodline’s foundations went from fractured to cavernous to all-out civil war.
Prediction: Although the end of The Bloodline is nigh, the story still has a few more chapters to go before we get to the Homeric finale. To have Reigns and Sikoa win would squash the Usos’ uprising, therefore, Jimmy and Jey getting the victory over their former stablemates seems the best possible outcome. The Usos win.
