Ricky Starks May Have An Opponent At AEW WrestleDream

Ricky Starks cuts a promo on AEW Rampage 2022

Ricky Starks is indeed proving that he’s “absolute” in AEW and he may do that once again this weekend for WrestleDream.

The new AEW PPV honoring Antonio Inoki is going to go down this weekend and a new report from Fightful has Ricky Starks slated for the card – with an opponent to boot. The working plan as of now is to have Starks go up against The Blackpool Combat Club’s Wheeler Yuta.

Starks is fresh off a devastating set of matches against Bryan Danielson. The first one was a very memorable, very violent strap match against The American Dragon back at AEW All Out. The two stars then followed that up this past weekend on Collision with a Texas Deathmatch.

Is Ricky Starks The Face Of AEW Collison?

Many fans came away from All Out believing that Ricky Starks and Bryan Danielson stole the show with their brutal fight mid-PPV. During the post-show scrum, Danielson revealed that he didn’t use his right arm at all during the match and gave a great deal of credit to Starks for carrying him through the battle.

“I will be the first one to say – and this is outside of within our stories and what we do –- he carried me through that match tonight. I’m good at a decent amount of things and I’m confident in saying that he was the one who carried me through that match.”

Starks certainly knows his worth in the realm of AEW as he just recently took to social media to claim that he’s not only the face of AEW Collison but the face of the company.
