Bryan Danielson Deserves To End Career On His Terms – Claudio Castagnoli

Claudio Castagnoli believes Bryan Danielson should close his wrestling career out like Terry Funk – on his own accord.

Castagnoli spoke with Baby Huey of 1077 The Bone ahead of his major ROH World Title defense against longtime adversary Eddie Kingston and was asked about his thoughts on Bryan Danielson saying that this would likely be his last year as a full-time wrestler. Claudio said he knows and speaks with Danielson on a personal level outside of the ring and with all that The American Dragon has been through, he deserves to handle it all his way.

“Bryan had an absolute miracle career. As you know, people counted him out so many times, and he came back from things that normal people probably wouldn’t. So, for him to call it on his own terms and end his career whenever he wants to, I think that’s very important to him, and he deserves that. So, whenever he decides that enough is enough, he will do so, but I also think you have to very much pay attention to how he worded it.”

Bryan Danielson Will Be Primarily Featured On AEW Collision

However Danielson handles his future will absolutely be up to him, but during the AEW All Out post-show media scrum, he and Tony Khan implied that he may make AEW Collision his pro wrestling residency as it would fit his schedule as a father of two more applicable. Additionally in a recent Wrestling Observer, Dave Meltzer reported that Collision will be the primary feature for Danielson moving forward with the company loose brand split coming to an end.
