AEW WrestleDream takes place on October 1st with a mammoth 14 matches now on the card.
The event is set to be headlined by Christian Cage defending his recently-won TNT Championship against longtime rival Darby Allin. The pair will attempt to end their feud in a 2-Out-Of-3 Falls Match.
Meanwhile, Bryan Danielson and NJPW’s Zack Sabre Jr. will clash in a battle to determine the greatest technical wrestler in the world today, while AEW World Champion MJF will single-handedly defend the ROH Tag Team Titles against The Righteous following an injury that has left Adam Cole on the sidelines.
Elsewhere on the show, Chris Jericho will join forces with Kenny Omega and Kota Ibushi to continue their rivalry with Don Callis through his ‘Family’ of Konosuke Takeshita, Will Ospreay, and Sammy Guevara, while Eddie Kingston will put his ROH and NJPW STRONG Titles on the line against Katsuyori Shibata.
On the latest episode of Collision, more matches were added to the already stacked card as part of the Zero Hour pre-show. This included Claudio Castagnoli issuing an open challenge which was answered by former UFC star and a student of Antonio Inoki, Josh Barnett.
Finally, bringing the event up to 14 matches, it was announced that ROH Women’s Champion Athena will team up with Keith Lee, Billie Starkz, and NJPW’s Satoshi Kojima to take on Lee Moriarty, Mercedes Martinez, Diamante, and Shane Taylor.
Recently Billie Starkz confirmed that she is signed with AEW.
