AEW Star Tips Jade Cargill To Surpass Goldberg’s Undefeated Streak

Jade Cargill Bill Goldberg

Jade Cargill has been making waves since arriving in AEW, and one fellow AEW star believes she should surpass Goldberg’s legendary undefeated streak.

Cargill became All Elite near the end of 2020 and immediately found herself in a program with some of the company’s top stars. Her debut match saw her team with NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal to defeat the team of Cody Rhodes and Red Velvet, and she’s remained undefeated in the promotion ever since.

After being crowned the inaugural TBS Champion by defeating Ruby Soho in the finals of a tournament, the star has proven even more unstoppable, racking up title defenses against such names as Nyla Rose, Athena, and most recently, Taya Valkyrie. In February, the star reached 50-0 in her legendary undefeated streak, and she currently sits at 57-0 as of this week’s AEW Rampage.

Her indestructible nature calls to mind comparisons to WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg, who had a legendary undefeated streak of his own following his WCW debut. While there’s dispute about the accuracy of the numbers, the record books state that Goldberg won 173 matches in 1997 and 1998 before eventually being defeated at the hands of Kevin Nash.

Thunder Rosa Believes Jade Cargill Will Pass Goldberg’s Undefeated Streak

During a recent appearance on Busted Open Radio, former AEW Women’s Champion Thunder Rosa was asked if Cargill will be able to pass 173 matches undefeated, and she believes it’s absolutely a possibility.

“I think so. I think so, one hundred percent.”

Busted Open co-host Denise Salcedo quickly expressed her belief that the TBS Championship has become synonymous with Cargill and that it will be a big accomplishment when someone eventually takes the title and ends Cargill’s reign of dominance.
