London Council Claims AEW All In Attendance Exceeds Over 85,000

A new attendance number has surfaced regarding the history-making PPV AEW All In and it could be bigger than originally reported.

BodySlam.net has discovered a new correspondence with the Brent County Council that has a favorable new number for the massive show that took place at Wembley Stadium. According to an email, their reported attendance for the show was 85,528, well over the previous numbers.

AEW originally announced that the live attendance for All In was over 81,035, which would make it the highest-attended wrestling event in history. However, it was reported by Brandon Thurston following a FOI request that the turnstile numbers were much lower at over 72,265. That number was also reported by the Brent City Council and would put All In below WrestleMania 32 for the most-attended wrestling event via turnstiles.

AEW All In Still Making History For Wrestling

No matter what the numbers may be for AEW All In, the show will etch itself in pro wrestling history either way for at least two reasons. First off, it’s by far the largest-attended event in the company’s short history and second, it’s the first wrestling event to take place at Wembley in over 30 years, with the last one being WWE SummerSlam 1992.

Of course, for better or for worse, it will likely always be the host to CM Punk’s last match he’ll have for AEW as he was fired the following week with cause by AEW President Tony Khan. CM Punk and Samoa Joe officially kicked off the All In card in a memorable match for CM Punk’s “Real” AEW Championship.
