Xavier Woods Not Cleared To Wrestle

WWE Superstar Xavier Woods revealed that he will not be cleared to wrestle next week due to an injury he sustained during a match on Raw.

Woods, a former WWE Tag Team Champion, shared a photo taken before the match and explained that he suffered whiplash after being hit in the face with a chair thrown by Drew McIntyre.

Although it was an accident as part of the storyline, Kofi Kingston forgave McIntyre after the match. Woods expressed disappointment about not being able to wrestle on his birthday, but he remains optimistic about returning to Raw in two weeks.

In his post on X, Woods stated:

Moments before I had a chair hurled into my face giving me whiplash. Doctors orders, no wrestling next week. Was pumped to be out there on my birthday but it looks like I’ll be spending it at home next Monday. See yall the week after!

McIntyre demonstrated his concern for Woods’ safety by ensuring that the cushion side of the chair hit him in the face during the spot, providing some relief amidst the unfortunate incident.

Has Xavier Woods Ever Won The WWE Title?

Although Woods has held multiple championships and accolades in the WWE, including multiple WWE Tag Team Championship wins with fellow New Day partners Big E and Kofi Kingston and winning the King of the Ring tournament in 2021, Xavier Woods remains the only member of the New Day to not have captured a major singles championship.

Both Big E and Kingston have held the WWE Championship and numerous other singles titles. Whether Woods will one day capture a singles title remains to be seen.
