The Fiend Bray Wyatt holding his face

The late Windham Rotunda was known for his immense creativity as The Fiend, but the man known as Bray Wyatt also had his share of creative friends.

October 9, 2023 would mark the one-year anniversay since Bray Wyatt returned to WWE and he came back in a big way. During the PLE, before Wyatt walked out, several of his Fire Fly Funhouse characters were show dispersed throughout the audience, but so was his atler ego The Fiend and who played him wasn’t a fellow wrestler.

The man behind the mask ended up being Jason Baker, who to the wrestling fan may not stand out, but if you have an ardent interest in special effects you will. Baker is one of the individuals who have worked under the famed Tom Savini, who is world renowned for his work in horror films. Baker is a resident of Pittsburgh, PA and formed a relationship with Rotunda as he’s the man behind a lot of what fans say when it came to Wyatt’s cast of wild characters.

“The Fiend” Jason Baker Commemorates The Anniversary Of Bray Wyatt’s Return

Jason Baker took to social media to share how special of a day Extreme Rules 2022 was, not only for Rotunda, but for him as well.

“One year ago. I turned 40, said goodbye to my grandma, stayed up for 48 hours creating puppet suits, got to do my best Fiend impression, and witnessed Windham Rotunda take his rightful place back where he belonged. Such an amazing day!”

Rotunda sadly passed away on August 24 as many of his friends and fans have paid tribute to him and his legacy in wrestling.
