Karrion Kross Was Scheduled To Work With Bray Wyatt At WrestleMania 39

Bray Wyatt

Karrion Kross almost worked with Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 39.

When Wyatt returned to WWE at Extreme Rules in 2022 he was immediately linked with working alongside Kross. The star and his on-screen manager Scarlett already had a supernatural element to their characters, and there were rumours the pair would link up with Wyatt as part of a new faction.

However, the group never came together.

Speaking in a new interview with Chris Van Vliet, Kross has revealed for the first time that he was actually slated to work with Wyatt at WrestleMania 39.

“So we fast forward. I haven’t talked to like anybody but my wife about this. So fast forward we were supposed to work last WrestleMania nobody knew that except for a collection of writers and some people in the office. [Was this WrestleMania 39?] Yeah. We were slated to do something. And we would talk for hours about how we wanted to get into it, what we wanted to deliver creatively for people where we thought we both needed to be.”

Karrion Kross Pays Tribute To “Inspiration” Bray Wyatt

Bray Wyatt sadly passed away on August 24th, 2023, aged just 36. His death rocked the wrestling world, with tributes immediately pouring in.

Karrion Kross, who was one of several WWE Superstars to get a matching tattoo in honour of the star, told Chris Van Vliet that he always saw Wyatt as an inspiration.

We had you know, ideas with like Alexa and Bo and Scarlett. You know, and then everything happened the way it did. But he left a mark on anybody and everybody that he ever met. And it’s just very strange the way everything kind of just played out, like, beautiful and tragic. And he was always an inspiration to me and always showed me warmth. He showed everybody warmth, you know what I mean? But I just have so many, I have more stories than we have time to share. But we were cool and I’ll never forget him.”

Wyatt appeared to be heading for a WrestleMania match with Bobby Lashley before he stepped back from television in February.
