Matt Riddle Breaks Silence Following Accusations About Drug Use And Rumoured WWE Suspension

WWE Matt Riddle

The speculation and uncertainty surrounding Matt Riddle continues, with more accusations being made public.

On the December 5th edition of Monday Night Raw, Riddle was attacked by Solo Sikoa and left the arena on a stretcher. In storyline WWE announced the star would be out of action for six weeks as a result of the beatdown. However, this was followed by a report that claimed Riddle was actually suspended and had been sent to rehab following a second failed drugs test.

“I Couldn’t Be Happier Or Healthier” – Matt Riddle

A source close to Riddle later denied the story, noting that he was taking time off to deal with his divorce. Although if fans thought that was the end of it, they were very wrong.

Adult film star Jordan Maxx recently claimed that Riddle had lied to her about using drugs, while cheating on her with fellow adult entertainer Misha Montana. She also appeared to confirm that he was now in rehab.

In response, the man himself has taken social media for the first time since being stretchered out of Monday Night Raw. Riddle said that he was happier and healthier than ever alongside a photo featuring himself and Misha Montana.

“I’ve been working a lot on myself lately and have been saying no and setting boundaries for the first time ever and certain people aren’t happy about it, but I couldn’t be healthier or happier. Thank you for all the support.”

It has also been reported that if Matt Riddle has failed WWE drug tests they have breached their own drug policy, as there was no 30 suspension for his first alleged offence in the summer. WWE’s policy also notes that any failed drug tests are announced publicly.

Inside The Ropes will continue to update this story as it develops. At time of writing there has been no official word from WWE regarding the claims.
