Tony Khan Claims AEW All In Match Will Be One Of The Greatest Ever

AEW President Tony Khan

Tony Khan believes the sky’s the limit for one match at AEW All In.

As AEW heads to the United Kingdom for the first time, FTR and the Young Bucks are preparing to do battle over the World Tag Team Titles. The two teams are widely regarded as the best in the world and have already met in a couple of acclaimed matches.

At present, each team holds a win over the other, and expectations are high for their third match at Wembley Stadium.

Appearing on AEW Unrestricted, Tony Khan added to these expectations, commenting that he feels the match could do down as one of the greats.

“It’s gonna be, without a doubt, the highest stakes in all of tag team wrestling,[on] the biggest stage of all pro wrestling, and the biggest match in all of tag team wrestling imaginable.

FTR, the AEW World Tag Team Champions, vs. The Young Bucks — the rubber match … it’s going to be unbelievable. Both of these teams have been involved in some of the greatest tag team matches we’ve ever seen, including with each other. The series is tied 1-1. Both matches were amazing.

I believe Young Bucks vs. FTR is going to be one of the greatest tag team matches of all time, on one of the greatest wrestling shows of all time.

This Sunday, you talk about huge matches on a huge stage — this, to me, is one of the biggest matches we can possibly put on.”

Tony Khan Claims Backstage Problems Are Inevitable

The match between FTR and the Young Bucks has come together despite the teams not always seeing eye-to-eye. Tensions in the AEW locker room recently came back to the fore following comments made by CM Punk about Hangman Adam Page after an episode of Collision went off the air.

Reflecting on the problems, Tony Khan said they weren’t ideal but a reality as he can’t make everyone get along.
