The Young Bucks Reflect On “Frustrating” Distractions Ahead Of AEW All In

The Young Bucks have admitted that the build to All In has been somewhat frustrating.

At Wembley Stadium on August 27th, the Young Bucks will look to win the AEW World Tag Team Titles when they take on FTR. The two teams are widely regarded as the best tag teams in the world and currently hold one victory over the other.

However, the lead-up to their third clash hasn’t been without controversy. Cash Wheeler was recently arrested and charged with aggravated assault and this threw into doubt his appearance at All In.

Speaking to Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated about the situation, Matt Jackson said the distractions had been frustrating, but he and Nick remain focused on delivering a classic.

“Any time distractions happen beyond your control, it’s a bit frustrating. But we have a task at hand, and we plan on delivering.”

Commenting more specifically about the match itself, Matt said it might be the culmination of everything the Young Bucks have ever done.

I love a challenge I’m most excited for the opportunity to feel what it’s like to perform at an event of such magnitude. It might be the culmination of everything we’ve ever worked for, and how I complete every future story I tell to my future grandkids about where my career climaxed.”

Nick went on to reflect on his health struggles before their first match with FTR, explaining that the extra time to build this time has been a big plus.

“Not many people know this, but I had a really bad case of Covid a month or two before that first match, and I had trouble breathing for a long time. Cardio-wise, it took me a while to get healthy, so that match was probably the hardest match I ever had to get through. The second match I felt a lot healthier, but it was on TV so we didn’t get a lot of time. What excites me most is having that extra time and having a beat to be able to tell the best story that we possibly can.”

The Young Bucks Highest-Paid Team In The World

Despite the uncertainty, the Bucks’ have had reason to celebrate in recent weeks. The duo signed new contracts with AEW along with Kenny Omega and Hangman Adam Page, it’s believed the deals will keep the quartet with the company for four more years.

The new contracts made The Young Bucks the best-paid tag team in history.
