Casting is underway for a Hulk Hogan body double in a new biopic about late model and actress Anna Nicole Smith.

According to the site CastingNetworks.com, a new project called Huricanna is in the works and looking to cast a body double of the Hulkster. The project appears to be a biopic chronicling the life of former Playboy Playmate Anna Nicole Smith, and the casting call reads as follows:

“Looking for a HULK HOGAN double. He is a Body Builder with Long Blonde Hair. He is around 6’7″. If you have doubled as him before please mention that in your posting.”

Smith was a model and actress who tragically died at the age of 39 due to a drug overdose. Little more information about the project is known at this time.

Hulk Hogan’s Own Biopic Was Scrapped

Before the global pandemic hit, it was reported that Netflix was in the works to create a film on the early wrestling career of Hulk Hogan, and the title role of Terry Bollea was going to be played by Chris Hemsworth, greatly known for his role as Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

However, in an October interview with Chris Van Vliet, Hogan gave an update, revealing the film had been canned.

“Yes, I do [have an update]. So it was a situation where business-wise, Netflix kind of like missed the date, you know, as far as a business situation. And so I had the choice at that time to switch gears. Scott Silver wrote the script, you know, he wrote The Joker and a bunch of different movies. And of course, Todd Phillips has done the Joker Wolf of Wall Street and you know, whatever. All the crazy stuff that he did.

But yeah, the script came back. It was amazing. I mean, because my favorite movies are like Scarface, The Godfather, True Romance, it was there, it was there. And I just thought, Whoa, but all of a sudden there was a business glitch, you know, and then they tried to fix it a few days later. And I’d already decided to move on. So, my life rights and stuff are somewhere else now. And there are a lot of things that are getting ready to happen. And hopefully, Todd Phillips and Chris Hemsworth will still want to play. But there’s still a huge opportunity there.” (h/t TJR Wrestling)
