Booker T wants to see Nia Jax go on an unstoppable heel run similar to a legend of the TNA Knockouts Division.
The Irresistible Force has been positioned strong since her surprise return back in September and could be a legitimate threat to ending Rhea Ripley’s championship reign. However, according to Booker T, Jax should be even more intimidating.
Speaking on the Hall of Fame podcast, the former King of the Ring stated that Jax needs to be a more intimidating presence onscreen and feels that it would have a positive impact as a result:
“I said Nia should have a run with the belt a long time ago, way before she left the company and all that. But I also said if you can get the belt on Nia, who’s gonna beat her? Who’s gonna take it away from her? It’s one of those type of things, like booking yourself in a corner. I do wanna see Nia Jax in that monster role, but it’s kind of hard when I watch Nia because she’s a beautiful girl, and she plays the beautiful girl role, the beautiful monster.
I want to see Nia Jax take the gloves off, take the makeup off, and just come out there and beat the hell out of somebody. That Nia Jax right there is the Nia Jax that will sell some tickets. We need a monster like Awesome Kong to come in and turn everything upside down,”
Not promoted ahead of time, many fans were surprised about the return of Jax to the company following a cameo at the 2023 Women’s Royal Rumble, including Jax herself. In a recent interview following the return, Nia Jax recalled being told how she found out that she would be coming back to WWE.
Jax Sets Sights On WWE Gold Once Again
Jax won her first Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 34 after defeating former best friend Alexa Bliss. Looking to be at the top of the Women’s Division again, The Irresistible Force is one of 4 Superstars who will challenge Rhea Ripley for the title at Crown Jewel.
