Kazuchika Okada To Make TNA Return After More Than A Decade Away

In a surprising turn of events, Kazuchika Okada will be making his long-awaited return to TNA after a hiatus since 2011.

The announcement was made recently, revealing that Kazuchika Okada will be appearing at the Snake Eyes television taping in Las Vegas on January 14th, 2024, as part of TNA’s transition back to its former name after spending the past six years as Impact Wrestling.

Snake Eyes will be held at the Palms Casino Resort, coinciding with the name change of Impact Wrestling back to TNA, officially commencing with Hard to Kill on January 13th. This signifies a new era for the promotion, as they bring back one of their former stars.

Before achieving superstardom in NJPW, Okada had previously spent time in TNA from 2010 to 2011, during which he was given the name Okato and portrayed a character inspired by The Green Hornet. However, Okada stated that his stint in TNA did not allow him to fully showcase his talents, which left him feeling unfulfilled. In a recent video package aired during an episode of Impact, it was emphasised that Okada is returning to Snake Eyes with a burning desire for redemption.

Who Else Will Join Kazuchika Okada At TNA Snake Eyes?

Joining Kazuchika Okada at the Snake Eyes TNA event is Will Ospreay who has recently signed a multi-year deal with AEW but is still under contract with NJPW until February 2024.
