When Did Jon Moxley Last Appear In NJPW?

Jon Moxley’s last appearance in NJPW came on June 4th 2023 at Dominion 6.4 in Osaka-jo Hall.

teamed with Claudio Castagnoli and Shota Umino in an unsuccessful effort to claim the NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Championship from Okada, Tomohiro Ishii and Hiroshi Tanahashi.

Speaking after the event, Moxley revealed his plans to return to Japan, praising the nation as somewhere that “fighting spirit is revered”:

“A couple kids, a couple trips to rehab later, here we are. Every single time I come back to Japan, I will give you you absolute best, just like Claudio will, just like Shooter will. I am so Goddamn glad to be back in Japan. This is a place where fighting spirit is revered, this is a place where fighting spirit pays off in the ring, in that magical moment where blood and sweat and will and guts and all that sh*t mixes into one.

It’s the greatest f*cking drug in the world. I love that sh*t. Fuck yeah. We’ll wrestle again. I got f*cking plans. I got a f*cking resident card now. I know Okada has been f*cking with the visa thing and trying to get our sh*t stopped up. But I got the card now. I’ll come back whenever the f*ck I want. Thank you, Japan.”
