MJF Tips 2 AEW Wrestlers For Future Success

MJF believes that 2 young stars on the AEW roster could follow in his footsteps.

Still in his 20s and having held the World Championship for over a year, fans still believe that MJF’s best years may be ahead of him. However, despite the World Champion being confident in his skills, the Long Island native will need new stars to face in 5 or 10 years’ time when the current top stars step away from in-ring competition.

While receiving treatment from chiropractor Dr. Beau Hightower, MJF was asked if he has seen any future stars in the business in the same way that veterans did the same for him. The Devil picked 2 names as ones to watch, the first being one that he recently defended the Triple B against:

“I just wrestled him on TV for the World Title. I think Daniel Garcia is a hell of a talent.

“He’s just got to get the f*ck away from people that are giving him bad advice like Cool Hand Ange and Daddy Magic.”

Garcia has been announced as one of the names in the AEW Continental Classic Tournament. Following his official entry, Garcia was described in the video package as having an advantage due to his youth and is one to watch in the tournament.

Going from the independent wrestling scene to a major promotion, wrestlers have struggled to adapt to a larger crowd and the additional production aspects such as working the cameras. The World Champion admitted this was not an issue for himself but has seen a vast improvement in another young star.

The second name receiving a shout-out from the World Champion is a second-generation wrestler and a two-time FTW Champion, someone who MJF believes is acclimatising to wrestling on live TV extremely well:

“I believe in Hook wholeheartedly. I think every single time I see Hook, he’s getting better in the ring and he’s also getting more comfortable in front of a live audience. Which, frankly is the hardest part of the job. And I think that’s why I skyrocketed so fast, because it was never an issue for me. But I watch that dude Hook, he walks through that curtain, and you would think he’s been a professional wrestler for 30 years.

“That’s how much confidence that guy has. Nothing shakes that dude.”

MJF Blasts WWE Hall Of Famer

It should come as no surprise that MJF was brutally honest in his chat with Dr Beau Hightower, letting his feelings be known about certain wrestlers one way or the other. One former World Champion who received much less positive comments was Hulk Hogan, who MJF branded as a racist and a liar.

Continuing to berate the Hall of Famer, MJF also took jabs at Hulk Hogan’s Hollywood career, naming him the worst actor of all time.
