This week on WWE Raw featured Dominik Mysterio facing Ricochet, Seth Rollins against JD McDonagh, #DIY is back as a team and more.

Raw took place at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina with Michael Cole and Wade Barrett on commentary.

The opening promo segment featured The Judgment Day’s Rhea Ripley along with Dominik Mysterio & JD McDonagh, who isn’t officially in the group. Ripley bragged about how great the group was as usual. Sami Zayn interrupted, said he was resilient and will always fight against The Judgment Day. Ripley suggested a match for Zayn against Damian Priest. Ricochet ran out to back up Zayn against The Judgment Day since Ricochet was in a match up next.

Match #1: Dominik Mysterio (w/Rhea Ripley & JD McDonagh) defeated Ricochet by pinfall. Ripley distracted the referee, JD tried to strike Ricochet, who avoided it and Dominik got a rollup with his feet on the ropes along with a tights grab for the win. It was very cheap.

After the match, Ricochet superkicked JD and hit a Recoil on Dominik. Ricochet wanted to do a move off the top, but Ripley saved Dominik from it.

Match #2: The Creed Brothers – Julius & Brutus Creed (w/Ivy Nile) defeated Alpha Academy – Chad Gable & Otis (w/Maxxine Dupri & Otis). The Creeds won when Julius put Otis on his shoulders and Brutus hit a Brutus Ball to knock Otis down. Julius pinned Otis to win, so The Creeds won their first Raw match. The two teams shook hands after the match.

The Miz tried to host Miz TV with GUNTHER, but Gunther didn’t show up. Imperium’s Ludwig Kasier & Giovanni Vinci insulted The Miz with Kaiser calling him a clown. Gunther joined them in the ring to insult Miz some more. Gunther bragged about being the greatest Intercontinental Champion, Miz did his usual routine about mentioning all of his title wins and the fans rallied behind Miz. Imperium attacked, Miz tried to fight back and Gunther hit Miz with a big boot. Miz bailed to end it. The Miz was cheered during a lot of this so it could be a change for him.

Match #3: #DIY – Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa defeated Imperium – Ludwig Kaiser & Giovanni Vinci. Gargano & Ciampa won after hitting Meet In the Middle (superkick/knee combo) for the pinfall with Gargano pinning Vinci.

Match #4: Xia Li defeated Candice LeRae. Li hit a spin kick about two minutes in, LeRae sold it like she was knocked out. LeRae stumbled around and the referee called for the bell for the referee’s stoppage.

A video aired about Drew McIntyre as he sat at the WWE Performance Center to recall his first WWE Title win at WrestleMania 36 in 2020. Drew talked about his failed title win at Clash at the Castle. Drew said he’ll never forgive The Bloodline. Drew said for Rollins it’s another title defense in a Hall of Fame career and for Drew, this is everything for him. Drew said he was willing to take Seth’s back to take it from him. Drew said that he needs this…no more broken dreams. A song reference there.

The World Heavyweight Seth “Freakin” Rollins did a promo saying “boo freakin hoo” for all of Drew’s whining. Seth spoke about how a lot of people had worse things happen in 2020 other than Drew’s title win.

Match #5:Seth “Freakin” Rollins defeated JD McDonagh by pinfall. Rollins won clean with The Stomp. Damian Priest was at ringside and Rollins dared him to cash in Money in the Bank on him.

A new match was added to the Crown Jewel Kickoff Show: Sami Zayn facing JD McDonagh.

Match #6: Chelsea Green defeated Natalya by pinfall in a Trick or Street Fight. Green was dressed as Natalya’s uncle Bret Hart and Piper Niven was dressed as Natalya’s dad Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart. Natalya was dressed as a bunny. Green won with the Unpretti-her after Niven got involved a bit. Nikki Cross was in a trance under a pumpkin at one point of the match.

Throughout the show, there were promos from the five women in the Women’s World Championship match at Crown Jewel: Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Shayna Baszler vs. Nia Jax vs. Raquel Rodriguez vs. Zoey Stark.

Match #7: Damian Priest defeated Sami Zayn by disqualfication when Jey Uso attacked Priest. Jey saved Zayn from attacks from The Judgment Day.

After the match, Priest bailed through the crowd after fighting with Cody Rhodes. Cody gave JD McDonagh the Cross Rhodes twice on the commentary table. The table didn’t break. Cody did a promo about his confidence going into the match against Priest at Crown Jewel. Cody and Priest had a long distance staredown to end it.
